Did you do it from a pattern? Really cute, is it made so you can feature a different block each month?

I made my own pattern and no you can't feature a new block each month, an interesting thought though.

I want to do this too! I think if I make 12 blocks and put them togther like a childs cloth book it will work.At least I am going to try because I love this thing!

I love your little sewing icon, I have only seen two, one hand stitching and the other sewing on a machine.

I remember buying a holder (wood) for a quilt calendar haven't seen it for years but it would make a good template.

I was trying to thin of a way to flip or turn or take off or put on monthly blocks. Grommets, and ring binder, hmmm must
think about how to eliminate bulk and be able to change or
flip or flip and tuck, something.......

Love, love, love you idea - You have really started something now.....................

Maybe instead of a different block each month, how about seasonal, and velcro it on.

KwiltyKahy 10-31-2012 12:42 PM

That's exactly what I thought of. Looks like a great Christmas present or house warming gift
