I created a new space for my new Tin Lizzie 18 Sit-down model. I purchased cubes at Target and as many bins as I could find at the Hobby Lobby stores in the OKC area. It was the cheapest solution I could find for storage. I put my Bernina in there on a folding table just to 'try out the space'. As soon as the UPS guy brings my new machine I'll take down the folding table and put the Tin Lizzie there! I have two quilts pin/basted together, ready to quilt, I have another top completed...ready to baste the layers together and another top that just needs the borders! I'm so excited I can hardly wait....now.....where are you UPS GUY???

Like it! Are they bolted or just stacked up? Cute idea! Contests on your new machine!! Hurry ups she's pacing a hole in the floor waiting!!!

I just ordered 4 sets of 3 cubes for my fabric storage! I am really excited about them arriving so I can get started sorting my mess. Your space looks great and lets me know my idea will work.

Still basting your quilts? Quilting on a frame means no basting needed. I must not understand how your setup is going to be. Well, congratulations on your new machine!!

Hey, it's better than no space at all! Great organization!

The new machine is in a sit-down type table. It's a long-arm, 18", but set in a table. I do not have the space for the long-arm frames. It is not exactly what I wanted but it will be better than trying to quilt queen size quilts on my Bernina!

If I were going to get a LA I'd get a sit down model too. Good For You! I am able to quilt everything on my Bernina so far but if it ever gets to be an "issue" maybe I can HINT enough to get one.

:-D
