This was a freebie mystery pattern I got on line called 'Three Wishes'. (Thanks Susan Wood of Quilting for Less). It is also my first attempt at free motion (if you don't include the doggie blanket). My wonderful Mom bought me a stippling foot for Christmas. She still spoils me a little. :D
My stippling curves aren't perfect, but overall I am very pleased. |
Good job Mrs Mel! :) Your table runner is lovely! :)

I like the pattern, I like your fabric, and I think you did a fantastic job on your stippling!! Great tablerunner!
|
Looks great! The reason I do hand quilting is because I TERRIBLE at machine quilting! Yours look fabulous!
|
I love the way you used all different tone-on-tone off whites for
your backround. I did that on a table runner too! You did a wonderful job on the stippling (sp?) and on the whole project. It's beautiful! |
That's really pretty!

I love love love working on christmas table runners and small wall hangings. They are my favorite. Those colors are the best! I just made a mail tube snowman with those tiny squares. Yikes!! That was time consuming! I was so proud to have made it from fabrics I had on hand. Part of my new years resolution is t use some of my fabrics up.
Red and white are the best for christmas, don't you think? Yours sure speaks to me. |
Thanks for the complements everyone. It's like having your own personal cheerleading squad here!!! :D
I forgot to mention that I put the neutrals through a 'tea bath' on this runner cz my whites just looked too stark to me. I love red, Red Garnet; I have it throughout my house even tho it is not Christmas time. |
Very pretty, nice job.
Margie :) |
