Beautiful. I've seen these done by using a net to sew over the pieces. Thanks for sharing.

WOW! What an interesting technique, and you certainly did a bang up job with it!

Do you put netting over it to hold it down, or is it glued? How does it stick on the background? Very curious!

I would love to take a class on this technique. I recently got an email about the following online class Pictorial Techniques Art Quilting (not free, but I've taken another of their classes and it was worth it).
