That's really stunning tricia. It was a stroke of genious to put it on the black background. I'm sure that saved you hours and hours of appliqueing black bias between the pieces. It's really beautiful. :)

Very stunning. I like the black showing thru. I have not tried appliqueing yet but it is on my some day list. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone!!!

That is so amazing!!! It would look great as an accent on any wall!!! What was the pattern you used?

ooooh..so pretty. Is the center puffy? It looks very 3D! Awesome work!

I love the colors and the round design is so unique! If you add on a sleeve, what would go through the sleeve to hang it? I hope I said that right........... I am really intrigued with the design, but you have me stumped on how to hang it up.

Oh wow! That is gorgeous!!! Excellent Job!

Thank you again everyone.
Miranda, the middle is not puffy, but it kind of looks that way because of the fabric I used. Its kind of a silky type fabric instead of cotton like the rest of it. As far as adding a sleeve, I would put a dowel thru it to hang up just inside the border of it so it wouldn't show on the wall. That way it would look like it was floating on the wall. |
