LOL! Makes me think of the old Lava lamps of the 60's. Outline shape is like they were, and the patterned fabric inside says movement! Nice work!

OOOOOH...daughter (age 29) is getting a lava lamp for Christmas by request....wonder if I have enough time for this for then???? She has a weird sense of humor; her requested lamp has (plastic) jellyfish floating in it. Would be great to find those in fabric too! Nah.....her birthday is the end of May....will do it for that!

Wow I love this! It's just the right kind of quick and easy that I need to use for the quilts I'm doing for the soldiers. It is now on my "To Do" list of the 40 that I will be making between now and the end of January.
