Here's pics of a new quilt I'm doing. Its a zentangle quilt. I drew a zentangle, had it enlarged, traced it with a water soluble pen onto white muslin & am quilting the design in black thread. Most of it's stitched, but I might have to go over the stitching with a black marker if it doesn't fill in completely. It kills my eyes to work on it more than 30 minutes at a time. http://stichesandstrokes.blogspot.com/.

That is going to be pretty! I have never heard of a zentangle. Thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to seeing your finished project.

The link worked for me, but when you post a link you should not put a comma or any other character immediately after the link. Either omit punctuation or add a space after the link.

I love zentangles and have been compulsively drawing them for months! Who knew that the stuff I have done all my life would turn out to be saleable!
Love your quilt. Had been thinking about trying something like that myself but hadn't gotten the nerve yet! Can't wait to see it completed. |
I love the idea concept :D:D:D
I wonder if you closely basted the sandwich with water soluable thread, if it would help with the bunching? |
I love Zentangle and I just finished my 2nd class in it.
I have more "strings" to work with now. I also bought the book, Zentangle for quilters and embrodiery. I want to put this to quilts too. I have also been teaching my grandson. Carol |
