I am so in awe over some of the quilts in here, you girls are fantastic! At most times, I have a horrible time lining things up, even after cutting things to size using a grid....lol! I have been doing these for a few years now, mostly for non-profit organizations, parrot rescues or bird clubs for fund raisers. I only make the tops as don't have a machine that quilts, so they are sent out to be finished off. I would love to learn how to do the quilting myself...someday...and if I could find someone in the Philadelphia area to teach me!

Another. This one I actually made the backing for as I had a large piece of parrot fabric that was found in a closed down textile mill. This was just a sample piece but was never reproduced or put on the market for sale, I got the only 2 pieces that were ever made. I'll have to get a picture of the piece that I do still have. The quilt was a california king size & the woman who won it (it made over $1,200) didn't realize just how big it was until she got it home. She put it up on Ebay where a friend of mine had bought it.

Fantastic! My sister raises macaws and would go wild over these. Do you design your own blocks?

Wow! This is fantastic! I have 2 African Grays and 1 Jenday Conure myself so it hits a soft spot.
