I have (hopefully) posted pics of 1.a closeup of my first every quilt & 2.a pic of the fabric I bought on BF @ Mill End. I plan on using the material to do a Trip Around the World and the pink cross fabric will be the backing.
That was the statement. Here's the question...how do I wash these and not have them ravel all over the place? AND can I wash them together??

I'd zig zag around edges and use color cathcher in washer on gentle.

If you cut a 3/4" triangle off each raw corner, it will not fray. use dye grabbers. even then, I would wash the darker colors in separate load. if doing more than a yd of any fabric; fold to 18" widths, pin several places through all layers. takes longer to dry but really saves a lot of "tangle time" cleanup.

Depending on how much yardage it is I would just hand wash in the sink or tub. That is what I do for potential bleeders. if you are worried about the bleeding I would use retain or synthruop. I find that I loose less to raveling. hope this helps. the two prints I would wash together with no problem. and the batiks I would take a bowl of water and put it next to the sink or tub to test before you put it into the water. just to be sure that if you do have a bad bleeder it wont transfer to the others.

i've done everything ever said to stop raveling, still get mine to ravel. I'm good at it.

you can buy a pinking blade for your rotory cutter, pinking the edges keep fabric from fraying/raveling.
