Glad you are feeling better. I ruptured my C-4-5 disks 3 years ago, went through rehab learning to walk and use my hands again, but I feel fortunate that there was no lasting effects. It wasn't easy, but when I hit major milestones, like legibly writing my name (although my handwriting wasn't the best before), getting into the car and driving again, and the best part was being able to sew and quilt again, as I thought I might not be able to do that. It's amazing what the healing power of quilting can do for you.
