newest scrappy lap quilt design
1 Attachment(s)
One of my guild sisters just completed a marvelous scrappy king sized quilt. I liked her idea, but I wanted to make a different shape and have a lap sized quilt. So far, I have 9 of the 9 patches done. My scrap pile is threatening to overpower my tiny sewing area, so I had to do something.

Going to look great when you have finished

I like that design, too. Jump into that scrap pile with all your might!

I'm another one who can't wait to see the finished project.
That is a real neat design for using up scraps. Did you draw it on EQ??
Cool design! You mentioned you were doing it in 9 patches? I can see sewing it in rows with the vertical design, how will you join it with the 9 patches?
looks great, show us when you have completed the top please
I designed this on QuiltPro, which I like much better than EQ (I own both, but QP is easier to use.) Vertical or horizontal sewing might be easier, but I am doing 3 columns at a time.
Great design. I was going to add up how many 9 patches you needed but my eyes crossed!
Mine did too, I printed it and marked them off. I have just completed the center 5 columns. It takes much longer to press and cut my squares than to sew the segments.
mice design will make great quilt!!!
different set, would love to see t done.
Oh this is going to be very nice.
Neat. Count me as one of the ones who can't wait to see the finished quilt. Going to be beautiful. BrendaK

Thank you all for your kind comments.
If you're doing it all in 9 patches.... does that mean your drawing is just representational of the colours rather than the shapes too?
