We had heard a talk on "behind the scenes" and then stayed to ask questions, specific to a Staff Quilt Show we are doing. He said that they use Google SketchUp to decide how to hang their shows as it can give you a real virtual layout, in more than one perspective of how it will look. This may be a great tool to use if redoing a studio! I'm going to play around with it a bit and see what I can do. I'll have to work seam allowances in somehow but maybe I'll be able to get things working. Even if I can't, just being able to lay things out with the general color palette is useful. All for free! The greens are psychedelic making it really stand out. Will you use those particular colors, or others? It will be quite different. Great that you could use your hubby's program.
