Another great looking scrappy quilt and look all of the seams just match up so perfectly. You amaze me with your talents. Keep up the good work.

Barbm 04-29-2008 12:12 PM

So... when do you sleep? Man, you are productive! And each quilt is more awesome than the last! I am so envious! You must sew 90 mph.

Lucky Patsy's 04-29-2008 12:30 PM

That is fabulous! And you still have more scraps??!! OMG!

judee0624 04-30-2008 05:20 PM

sdeaaz 05-02-2008 06:11 AM

very nice.... did you use strip sets for the small squares in the center... Love it.... quilter 1234 8)

Cordelia 05-02-2008 12:15 PM

You do the neatest stuff -- and you use everything! Whenever I gaze over my scrap heaps, my eye organizes and adjusts causing it to eliminate options rather than create options.

That's a major drawback in creativity. I have to turn my brain around.

Izy 05-02-2008 01:00 PM

I think we should rename you to 'scrapodancer' as you do so much work with scra

Izy 05-02-2008 01:00 PM

Love your latest creation scrapodancer!! :D

Bright, lively and lovely!

How tiny are those center squares? They really add 'pop' to the pattern.

Shadow, your "scrappy" quilts never look like scraps. They always look so planned and coordinated. You have one sense of color, girl......I always like to see your projects (and hope when I get retired that if I can accomplish just 1/4 of what you get done, I'll be happy!)

Shadow Dancer 05-05-2008 06:24 AM

Thank you everyone for your kind words. :) This one was really fun to make and it got rid of some bigger scraps I had.

Wraez, the centers of the stars are made with 16 one inch squares. :)

Again, thank you. :)

wraez 05-05-2008 10:48 AM

Shadow....you have some patience that I don't have

but because I am so mesmerized by those tiny blocks, I might give them a shot....someday....maybe today

sue

wraez 05-05-2008 10:50 AM

Aha, but I think I see a pattern to those 16 1 inch squares....you sewed strips together and assembled...yay, I have the patience to do that! :-D

Steve 05-05-2008 11:25 AM

What pattern is it Shadow Dancer?

Shadow Dancer 05-05-2008 01:16 PM

Hi Steve...it's called Scrappy Stars and I found it in Quilt Almanac 2008 magazine that I picked up at the grocery store. :)
