This is the King sized nine patch quilt that I just finished binding this afternoon. It was made from my floral scrap bin and was completly random except each block has a red centre. I used a dark green flannel sheet on the back and Polydown batting as it washes and dries well. It is an everyday quilt that will be going on our bed. My friend Chris who has a Gammill Long Arm quilted it for me using an edge to edge design. As you can see, it has been approved by my Cavalier Molly. This is the first time that I have ever attempted to send a picture.

Lovely quilt - it seems like Molly is saying "look what my Mom did!"
Nice!
I really appreciate all of your kind comments. I love making scrap quilts both for the opportunity to mix lots of fabrics and for the fact that you can get a quilt for very few $. This quilt cost me $10 for the flannel sheet on the back, $12 for the Polydown batting and a pile of smallish scraps from my floral bin. I also made a pair of floral pillowcases with matching trim.
Really nice :!:
Very pretty.
they're both adorable :)
Lovely!
Great job! I love how the consistent color in the center pulls the whole thing together! That is a trick I will have to remember.
Isn't it nice to pull together something so nice for little to nothing? I like the way the reds and sashing pull everything together, great job.
Molly and the quilt are both very cute! I love scrappy quilts that have a 'theme' or anchor. I like the red centers and the sashing.
Beautiful quilt. Sweet inspector too.
