Nine Patches and Friendship Stars
Took this top off the wall today. I found the design at Wayne Kollinger's blog site, and he was gracious enough to let me use it. The colors look a little bleached out in the sun. The background is a green batik, and the center is a pale lavender. If you haven't heard of Wayne, you should check him out. He's published a book called "Designing Quilts is Easy".

Great design; I'll have to check out Wayne Kollinger for sure! Thanks for posting your work to share with us. It's great to see such creative pieces.

Aargh! Why didn't one of you eagle eyed ladies tell me that I put one of the stars in there backward?! Lol, I just noticed it about 10 minutes ago. Drat!

Very nice.

Seeing as I borrowed the design, I can hardly complain ;-) Make sure Wayne gets the credit for that! The black fabric is actually black with a purple flower outline. It fits in better than you think. Thank you for the compliments. Off, to check out your page.
