What a beautiful quilt and a great idea!
I'm new to quilting and I have this ever growing pile of bits and pieces that I don't know what to do with. I can't bring myself to throw them away. I'm an organizer too so I like things "neat" and the mess of scraps is driving me crazy! I think I'll be cutting up some scraps into 3" squares tonight! Thanks for the inspiration! :thumbup: |

I am always looking for ways to use up scraps. You nailed it by using beautiful combinations. Something about those nine patches just makes it charming. Thanks for sharing.

Your quilt is beautiful!! I nwish I was as organised!! I love scrap quilts but all my scraps are just in boxes. I go rummaging every so often and find inspiration!! A friend recently gave me a bag of 6inch squares cut from mens shirts I have made 4 quilts for injured soldiers from them so far and have enough for another!! I have done 9patch and variations D9p etc. I am thrilled with the end result!!
