Ninja Quilt
I love how this turned out. I have it entered in our office gift exchange today (our mascot is a ninja) and I hope the recipient enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it. The ninja fabric and the border fabric are all I bought; everything else was made from my scrap pile. Amazing what you can create from those!https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7578/...2b1a1a25_b.jpghttps://farm8.staticflickr.com/7486/...82a84ecb_b.jpg

Thanks! I had so much fun making this. When it was opened, the gentleman who opened it read the quilt label on it and when he read the line that said I made it the whole place applauded. Kinda cool! It was "stolen" twice in the exchange and I had 5 people come to me after and tell me to name my price to make them one. That was pretty neat, too. I didn't have time to take a picture of it all quilted, but I put stars around the border and quilted in the Friendship stars to make them look like throwing stars. I love the feeling when you get inspired by a piece of fabric.

My son would love that!! I just found the fabric online. My son, a marine, and his buddy got caught running around his base, in the middle of the night, dressed as ninja's. They said they were on a ninja mission. They are stationed in Japan. Needless to say, there was beer involved.:p I'm going to make one for when he comes home in February for a visit. Thank you so much for the inspiration and the great pattern!!
