This is what I'm working on for my quilts for quilters swap partner. She said she likes surprises so I thought I'd post it over here :) She said she likes earthy colors. And, mentioned she would love a OBW. So... here's what I've got, still moving the blocks around a little... What do we think? I'm a little nervous, it's not as colorful as other OBW I've done.

I think it is great. The flowers that are created add to the earthyness of the colors. It's hard, isn't it, to make something different than we would for ourselves and still feel confident that the partner will still like it even when it matches their specifications. Keeping going!

Oh Shannon, it's gorgeous!

Educate me please, what does OBW stand for? I've seen it several times but haven't figured it out yet.

best,

OBW is One Block Wonder -- the whole thing is made out of one fabric. Cutebuns did an excellent tutorial here on the board.

Thank you all for the feedback. This fabric is definitely a step outside my comfort zone. I have been nervous to tackle it, and this swap was the perfect fit for it. I think I have them arranged how I want them... now to decide on how the finish the edges before I sew them together....
