I posted some of the squares for this quilt months ago.
However, I finished it yesterday evening and took some pix before the sun went down. I should add that it is hand quilted... This is a Stack & Whack twin size quilt called Sushi. My daughter and I went round and round on patterns and fabric, she picked out most of these and I think is actually very pleased. (She is a hard one to read..) The wind was blowing a bit so the pictures are not totally in focus. Thanks for taking a look! |
I just love stack and whacks!!!!I love the colors you used!!!It's very pretty!!! And I really like the swirls in the border!!! Good job!!!

That's really cool.

I really admire anyone who can hand quilt. I don't think I'd have the patience. Really beautiful work.

absolutely love this...could you share the pattern with us?

That is so pretty...I love to hand quilt, too. It makes a special quilt even more special.
|
Beautiful.

You might not even recognize the pattern but it comes from "Stack a New Deck" by Karla Alexander, published by The Patchwork Place, page 62. The drawing in the book does not show the center pieces all the same size or shape and they used fewer different fabrics than I did.
There are LOTS of other patterns in the book that I like. |
What a happy quilt!!! Love the color choices you made.
|
That is a really cute quilt and the quilting is great!
