That is fantastic. But you don't actually sit on it do you?
Great chair. Love your creativity.
I have a chair my Papa made himself. He was a carpenter and carved the wooden parts by hand. I'll be looking for ties from now on to cover the seat.
Too Cute!!! Great way to recycle both the ties and the chair.
Where did you find all those red ties? The seats are beautiful!
The way I do mine is to sew the ties together making one long string after cutting off the wide ends. and it only takes 21 ties . After I get my ties ready I will post pic showing each step. So get your chair and ties ready.
Most of the ties were given to me and I got a lot at thrift stores.
You did a great job! It's a tedious process but, yours came out great! :D :D
Oh how talented, great job.
I love these chairs - a friend bought one and the pattern to make another
What a neat idea - I have been hoarding ties for quite awhile, I purchased a purse made out of them - just love it but cannot find a pattern for it anywhere I have looked. What you did was really clever.
Never toss the ties out. I made roses from my DH after he passed and placed them on what I call "memory pillows" and gave them to family. Your work looks great.
Wow! Very unique! A great conversation starter.

OMG!! That is amazing!!!!! Love it... what gave you that idea? You've done an exceptional job! I would love to see a tutorial as well!! I have a HUGE bag of ties a lady wants a quilt made from, but there are going to be plenty to do something else with! That is to coo!!
What a great project. Very creative.

What a creative change from the traditional rush or caned seats. Beautiful colors. Is it from a pattern or is this your own design????
