This is a table runner that I did today (quilted, didn't piece). Most of these fabrics are the same as the other chicken fabrics lap quilt I did so, it's is not a repeat photo. On this one I did an all over feather meander (freehand). My feathers are still improving. I can do the feathers more easily than I can draw the meandering line. I can't draw stick people :thumbdown: :lol: :roll:

Oh how I wish I could do feathers like you do. Mine are such a mess unless I use a pattern and then they aren't very good either. :?

I wish my chickens had feathers like that! I really do wish I had found some of those fabrics when I was making my husband's chicken quilt. I was cheap with his and quilted it myself, that was before we got Jackie!

Think the quilting is prettier than the quilt. Gosh the feathering just made it. You go girl...before we know it you are going to be in such a demand until we will never get to see your work. LOL Bet your husband never see you unless he comes into your sewing room. Just tell him he invested into his peace and harmony when you bought your machine. You don't have time to bother him. LOL

I can't let all these wonderful compliments go to my head or I will surely fowl up the next one. You wouldn't believe how easy that is to do. However, I really took my time and it took way longer than it should have because I'm not completely comfortable with that design just yet. So many people like that design that I should wind up with a lot of experience with that one and then it will go much faster.
