I guess I won't get this finished for this year but wanted ladyshuffler to know that I used her pay it forward template that she sent me. Want to put a boarder around it and will probably applique a ribbon of some sort to it and use it as a hanging on the door (next year). The ribbon on there is just a package ribbon stuck on there for fun!

Am ready now for Christmas and am just kicking back tonight and have made a couple of the ornaments that are made on Styrofoam balls. Those things are addictive!!

Everyone have a safe and a "Very Happy Holiday"!!

Don't think of it as not in time for Xmas, think of it as really early for next year! Good job!

Hey - wreaths are not just for Christmas - finish it after Christmas and you can still use it this year :D

Conartist1945 12-24-2010 02:19 AM

That is beautiful. I have many of the same fabrics you used in this wall hanging. Is the template available online anywhere? I really love the look of this.

Love your wreath. Think of it as being a year ahead instead of not finishing this year. What template did you use, would love to make some. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas to everyone on this board and may God Bless you and your families all thru 2011.

Someone remind me next week and I will try to explain how I did it. Just used a pointed dresden plate template.

Now hannajo--am going to go post a separate picture of the ornaments for you. Take Care All!!

Hi--just was wondering if you were ever able to post further info on the template used to create your Christmas wallhanging

crewsemj 07-07-2011 02:03 PM

I used the template that you use to make a dresden plate. Made it like for the pointed dresden and then folded each one WRONG sides together and laid them around sewing them down by hand. Still haven't got a bow made to put on it!! Want to see pictures if any of you do this. If you do not understand my inst. please let me know and I will try to do a better job.
