Oh wow! I love that! Your colors give the blocks so much more depth. They look like you can just pluck them right off! Great work.

I would be pleased if I were able to accomplish that also. ou did a wonderful job. I am sure your son will love it.
|
I love that pattern too. Yours turned out beautifully! Do you know how much fabric it takes of each of the colors for a block? Was it difficult to keep up with the color placement? I would put mine up on a fleece wall board on the wall.

Great Tumbling Block quilt and I think that pattern (not your grandma's tumbling block) is super!

A beautiful quilt and a great choice of colors. He will love it. Thanks for sharing.

nice job... it gives me inspiration to finish the one I have been working on for over a year. My son graduates college May 11th and he chose the pattern and fabric but I am only about 2/3's the way finished with the blocks. Since I am a newbie, Tumbing Blocks have been a challenge to say the least.
Love the wonderful colors in your son's quilt! |
LOVE your Tumbling Block quilt! The colors you used are awesome.
|
I just love the colors you used. Wonderful Job.
|
The backing is the same as the border. Tim is a biology major so thought the nature batik would be fitting. Oh, he and his fiance eloped Friday. So he will have his new wife to cuddle under it. I love her already. Sheesh
|
Wow this is stunning!!!!!

Love, love, love it-such a happy quilt!
