Swimmer girl,
Love your quilt. It will be a nice addition to someone's Christmas collection. It is very festive.

Hi,
This is so lively and relevant for the holidays. What is the pattern or technique used??? Does this happen to be for me???

thanks Moosegirl....did you see the back.....I am now making pockets for my labels...thanks to you. That was a darling idea and I want you to have credit for it. As soon as the gal gets it I'll post it again showing the label.

Thanks to Amma...I got my info updated and want you all to know that the doll quilt Simba is leaning against was from Tuesy in the October swap. I just love it and asked Tuesy if I could use it. She said yes so there it is...thanks Tuesy and thanks Amma...hugs....SG

This comment was intereting becasue the quilt that I just finished has a pocket label on the back, but I do not remember ever reading about this before. Could you please share the pocket / label idea. I am so curious

hi....it was a printed piece of fabric.....I tried free motioning around the lights..that didn't work so I just straight stitched around the wndows as best I could and added borders.....thanks everyone for all the kind replys....hugs SG

yes...moosegirl sent me a quilt in the Oct swap...she used a piece of fabric of a kitty's face...faced it and had sewed it to the back. then she put a cute label inside the pocket .....and I've been making my labels the same way....look on the back of my Christmas quilt and you'll see a boy in the window...he is the pocket and the label is inside.......hugs SG

Okay, now I have it. What I did was actually make a very fancy label on the computer to match the design of the quilt. When I sewed it on, I left the top open so that it could be used for a pocket on this quilted wall hanging for tucking away a little treasure or something.
