it looks OK, you (and us)are the only one(s) who know what it was gonna be....

I think they're both very lovely. I would NOT rip it out at all.

Why would you ever take this apart? I think it is beautiful.

I think it should go as planned. I really like this quilt and the fabrics.

ccb2200 02-22-2011 07:26 AM

I would leave it alone. I like it the way it is.
Very pretty.

judykay 02-22-2011 07:51 AM

Leave it, I don't see what the problem is.

Peggyinno 02-22-2011 09:02 AM

I would leave it. I actually prefer the second one  I love the colors.

OKLAHOMA PEACH 02-22-2011 09:05 AM

I think it looks great!

You really have to laugh about it.

Been there, done that.

And in this case, yeah, I would reverse sew it. Unless you change the outside blocks to make a complete X with dark lines going through the whole quilt.

Your right!!!
I think the only thing I will change is the corner blocks to complete the x.

Then I will start on another.
This time I'm not going to use the stripes either.
This is the other thing I didn't like about it.
Some of the stripes are not straight.
So some things to change on the next one.
This one is going to be a gift.
Thanks for helping & all your nice comments about it.
Don't get me wrong I like it but I know it'll look better with a few changes.

Without that, the 2nd design, as is, is just not as defined as the first one, and looks a bit too scrappy.

So, what's your favorite type of seam ripper?

And seems I'm in the minority. And so it goes. ;) ;)

Looks fine to me. I sure wouldn't be redoing it!
