This one was more fun. Quilting panels is easier than basic fmq--I don't have to be creative. This is the same sun I used on the baby Triple Irish Chains, but I made them bigger.

Good news: I didn't have to rip anything out this time except some decorative stitching I put at intersections to give empty spots more security--and that was only in one spot in the center. It was too restricting. And I didn't sew the back folded with the quilting--I pinned the corners.

The one lesson learned here is to not use the shelf that comes with the machine to quilt--the quilt would get caught on the corners and make things not so smoothly. :|

The suns were pinned in the center of the black squares..but didn't always get there.

This little quilt is so nice. I think your little tacking stitches are a good idea. Did you come up with that one?

Did you come up with that one?
Yes!! It was me! I was going to quilt a small heart in those places, but I was feeling lazy and wanted to finish this in a hurry, so I used never before stitches I have on my machine!

Do I win a prize? :-D
