I love this quilt. The border is so cool. It looks like the squares are dancing around the quilt. I would love to see it finished and hear what you have decided to do. Whatever you decide it will be very pretty.

I love the Album Block pattern!! It's one of my most favorite of all patterns -- especially love the antique Album quilts! I love crosshatching or anything curvaceous would give a nice balance to all the squares! I would SITD to give stability. Want to make one of these quilts one day as it makes a great scrap quilt! The border treatment balances the blocks well and gives an excitement to the quilt without distracting. You did a great job -- it's just gorgeous!!! :D :D

Was it very hard and was it done with strips? Very very pretty.

Definitely stitch in the ditches. Keep the rest simple to not detract from the wonderful piecing.

you've done a beautiful job, very nice.

I love the quilt, but have no idea how you should quilt it. My machine quilting is pretty much limited to STID, so that's probably what I'd do--not because it would look best, but because that's all I can do!

I would SID as a design would take away from the design of the beautiful blocks.

I'd be doing the ancient Greek geometric patterns over that lot.

What are they? I don 't think I've heard of them.
