OBW layout complete, (I think)

Took all day and a few design changes, but I think I have the final layout now. Just had 3 left over hexies. The area w/ the whole fabric insets isn't "lined up" correctly b/c I'm going to need to "fit it in" when I can see where things land w/ real seam allowances. It isn't quite as light over all as this shows, the flash washed it out a little.

That's so cool! I've never seen one like it. I love the bright aqua against the crisp white and greys.

The back is fleece

The binding is self binding brought from the back I was proud of these miters.

Lovely work...however, I am a new by, what does OBW stand for??? Sorry I’m really new at quilting and I’m just learning the lingo!!!

Bluebonnets 11-10-2017 07:44 AM

That's very pretty.

OBW is one block wonder. It is a type of stack and wack (you can google those terms and see lots of images and tutorials) where you use one fabric w/ 6 repeats stacked and cut in 60 degree triangles and sewn into hexies.
