I thought I wouldn't get around to this until next week, took some time off this evening after packing all day and came up with this so far.Luckily, I had a pyramid triangle that I used to cut them out.

I might be able to do it with this triangle ruler you used. Had not seen it done like this before.

These work up so fast and are so fun to make. I love taking the triangles and spinning them around to get different designs. Nice job. Pretty colors.

Really pretty, can't wait to see the finished product.

What is the name of your triangle ruler and where did you get it? Thanks for the info.

I bought it many years ago on clearance. It is a pyramid classic charm quilt template from EZ Quilter, West Warren,Ma. It is 3 3/4". I bought a few different ones, think I paid a few $ for it at Walmart.

sewingmom3, thanks so much for the prompt answer. This looks like a way I could do the obw. Everyone talks about measuring and how many repeats and I just absolutely can not get that thru my head. Also I'm not real precise at measuring. Thanks, again.

Patched,
here is what I did to cut them out. I picked a point on the fabric near the edge of the fabric and cut it there, then repeat for the next 5 strips. stack them up and put a few pins in matching up the pattern a few places across the fabric. I cut mine in half lengthwise so I didn't have such a long piece to work with. My fabric must have been printed off grain because each strip was a little bit different in width.Anyway I got them all stacked the cut a strip at 3 3/4" for my triangle and cut them across the fabric, then repeated for the next strip.
