Well K it was worth the wait!!! Fantabulous! Magnifique! I love the play of colors. The red white yellow are such wonderful combinations of colors. Each one is just that little bit more than the one before! You have really learned to do the OBW justice in a big way!! I couldn't begin to visualize it when we talked but now it is real to me!!! In case you can't tell I love it!!

Hee hee. Gives new meaning to a chicken with its head cut off.
Sorry...couldn't help myself since I raise chickens.

I really like it. I rather squealed with delight when I saw it. One of a kind.

Thankyou everyone!

It's around 54" by 50" I think, from when I measured to calculate binding. Sorry, I'm too lazy to go upstairs and measure it!

Hiya Izy!!!! I'm honoured to be your 'first'! :-D :-D :-D

Re the fabric, when I'm looking for OBW fabrics, I first think 'do I like it?' then 'are the motifs big enough to be cut into by the size strips I'll be using. Here the motifs (ie the chickens) were around 4" so a 3 3/4" strip cut 'em up good! THEN I look at the colours and how they'd 'group'. Here, I saw shades of white and grey, shades of red and ginger and shades of black and white. And that's how they're grouped in the quilt. :-D

Oh my goodness! What a clever and creative use for your chicken fabric. How talented you are and what a delightful quilt top.
