Another amazing OBW ... what is your border fabric?

Did you use the original fabric for the backing? Few will ever believe what the original was/is!

And how are you going to quilt it?
I'm already starting to think about how mine will be done!

Spectacular! The blue in the border just makes the whole thing sizzle.

My large border fabric is a batik. I also used a very dark red batik in the cubes. I am still thinking about how best to quilt it. Any ideas?

Beautiful...I can't believe how this pattern transforms the original fabric. Love your colours.

I am far from being the one with knowledge as to how to quilt! I usually let my LAQ or handquilter suggest to me what to do. Though I am getting better and more knowledgable as to the what's!

For OBWs I'm wondering if you just go with stippling? though I really don't know! Maybe for your cubes, some outlining and/or echoing? I like outlining and echoing, to get things to puff up ... stippling just flattens it all together!

Love your quilt. I always appreciate when people show the before and after of the OBW, it just amazes me at the difference from cutting the fabric.
