OBW walk of shame
1 Attachment(s)
Might look OK in the pic but the quilting is awful!, this was the project that changed my way of thinking to slow down, relax and fix it before you get too far or hate it forever!
|
You can't see anything terrible from the picture, but I do feel your pain. I just finished a giant quilt that I pretty much hated from early on in the quilting. I should have ripped it out and started over, but just couldn't bring myself to do it. It now lives way in the back of the closet.
|
Oh boy, I can only imagine how you feel.
|
Ha ha, thats where mine was, too, (maybe when we die and our family has to clean up, somebody will appreciate it, or at least use it to keep warm!)
|
It looks great to me!

I can tell a lot of work went into it. It looks lovely but I know the pain of not having a quilt turn out as well as you thought it would. It will still keep someone warm and look pretty on the back of the couch.

It looks great to me - very pretty fabrics for OBW. Usually by the time I finish a quilt I'm sick to death of it, and it takes a while before it starts to look good to me again.

nice colour combo

I think it is very pretty. Not sure what you find so objectionable about it, but I have had the same thing happen to me. The idea was "perfect" in my mind, but it didn't turn out quite so perfect. Maybe you are too hard on yourself???

I have had these feelings for quilts and then later....years later...will pull it out and look at it and say...that isn't so bad...why did I hate that! Others...still waiting for my approval...lol.
From here...it looks fine. I like the flow and your colors. |
