I finished this quilt top for my grand daughter in early December and was going to quilt it myself then decided not to. It will be going out to be machine quilted. I wish the photos were better. I was hoping for sun today so I could take the picture outside for better images. Well, the sun is here along with the wind so I hads to take the photos indoors (didn't want my quilt top to end up in the next county).

Beautiful quilt. I will think about this one.

That is special for sure

I knew you would. I had already sandwiched it to do it myself and unpinned it all this morning. I also gave it a good grooming and will repress all the seams before it will go out. The pictures don't do the colors justice.

Beautiful quilt, I bet your granddaughter loves it!

Oh my...my 5 year old GD would dearly love this quilt. She is so into mermaids!! What a nice quilt. Bet your GD loves it too.

You did a beautiful job! I have that panel and fabric but nothing has called to me as far as a pattern. I have been struggling with it. Thanks for the inspiration! I play guitar and love mermaids so when the line came out I indulged.

Think about how to quilt it? :-) I will finish mine in about 6 months and send your way

Beautiful quilt top!!

My parents live in St Thomas half of the year - I have to say that quilt is awesome! I would love love love to be able to get a panel and some of that matching fabric to make them a wall hanging. They are difficult to shop for and that is just gorgeous!
You did a fabulous job on it - it is so pretty! |
She will love it. Great job!

The fabric is by In The Beginning Fabrics and came out early 2010. The designer is Julie Pachinkis. The design also comes in blue tones. I liked the brights. It may be hard to find in the LQS's, you might find it online.

I love the printed panels. If I were doing it part of it would be outline quilt each motif in the squares, like the mermaid and octopus and what ever else there are. I am sure Charismah will do a wonderful job.
