Odd Balls united!
 

Finished this little (twin size) gem. Everything was in my stash except batting and backing. The majority of the blocks were won, several gifted and a couple made. I had no idea what I was going to do with such odd balls... then I said what the heck and here's the result!!

What nice way you handled these blocks. I love the sewing machine in the middle, like a statement block of "This is what I do!".

I am looking at my orphan blocks differently after seeing what you have created.

You were lucky they were all the same size. Usually when I get such a collection of blocks from wherever, they are different sized and need a border or two on some of them to make them the same size.

It worked out great. I like the complete hodgepodginess of it, the brights with the muted, the modern and traditional blocks. Choosing the black sashing really was a smooth design choice.
