(a-hem...DH says "patent pending" LOL )

Starting a new thread, this will have a lot of pics. Hope that's ok. Hopefully for those capable of building it, the dimensions and pics will be adequate. There are a few that are blurry. Sorry.

I'll start with the "trucks" that the quilt and the Flynn frame ride around on.

Starting with moving parts...the truck that rides the large rails, and move the quilt and it’s frame from side to side.

Two, one per side. Requires:
-9/16” aluminum, 4 pieces at 29” (or whatever you decide the width of your overall frame will be)(this was left over from the aluminum railings on our outdoor steps)
-1” aluminum, 4 pieces at 7 1/2”, notched out 1 1/2” for wheels
-16 brass wheels (includes the 8 needed for the second trucks), 1 3/8” diameter, 5/8” thick, center bored out for a 5/8” bearing
-16 5/8” bearings

side rails (that the large truck rides on, inner ends rest on your table either side of your machine, other end on legs) 4 pieces of 90” long, 1” aluminum. You could have longer or shorter, depending on where you set up and how much space you have either side of the machine.

rail separators/ends - 1” aluminum, 27 1/2” long (or what you decide your width is), 6 pieces

end stops (so your trucks don’t zing your quilt frame and quilt right off the end of the frame) 1” aluminum, 2” long, notched out on three sides at 1”

part of one side, with separators

This shows how DH connected everything together, so it could be broken down for storage...we have a VERY small house.
