I dont know if you can tell from the photos of it but I SITD first then I tied it like she did hers. Valerie's mom did not have a sewing machine and this was a utilitarian quilt. Now I am using a 100% cotton yarn for the tying and make sure to do a surgical knot. Billy |

Billy Now when it comes to painting cars and bikes I have that color thing down to a science. Multi-layer flames, pearls, candies, subtle two tones and fades are a cakewalk. But fabric is a whole new world for me brother!! Billy |
Guys, your quilts are just awesome. All of them. I, for one, hope my hubby never starts quilting. He is so talented and can do everything so well, I would just give up. Sewing is my thing, so far I haven't had to compete with him on that level.
You guys keep up the great work! |
Very nice! I really like the one you did for your son, it is so full of life. I am very impressed you do them on a treadle machine. Good work!

Alright, now you guys have put me to shame... I love, love, love your quilts and what an inspiration. Keep up the fabulous work and thanks for sharing.
