OKsooner sent me this quilt and I am in LOVE with this quilt...it is so "Stylish". Which just makes me want to sing "Wild Thaaannnnng"..LOL
Anyway...She sent black kind of shiny backing and I used a yellow thread...I tried to see if I could possibly get a variegated to work and I couldn't get it to work properly. I used white thread on the top. I wanted the fill-in work to look like zebra stripes to match some of the wild fabrics in the quilt. I outlined the big framed flower and then chose kind of fun designs to fill in each frame...all kind of "fun" quilting that just makes the quilt top sing. I used Hobbs poly down batting and I quilted this on my INNOVA. NO computer or pantograph quilting...all by my own hand. Thanks for looking. back....I still need to slip threads...obviously.
