Remember this top - well it is finally quilted and even made a couple of sets of pillowcases to match. Sure do wish I had made the quilt bigger though. Next time...........

Have already promised him another quilt but bigger this time - didn't say when though... LOL

That is beautiful. Just an inquirey; NOT a criticism--what gave you the idea to put those colored cubes in there? For me ,it would have looked out of place and I would have just left the black and white print. I guess I need to think outside the box more. You did a great job!

Who knows where my mind was when I decided to add colored cubes!! Glad I did though. The animals got appliqued on when there was one cube that I didn't like and couldn't place it anywhere where it seemed to look OK sooooooooo covered it up with the lion and the appliques took off from there. This is sort of how I quilt - never know what will happen. LOL
