Pretty block

quiltnan - when you draw this in EQ how do you decide how to set up the drawing board. I never have enough "click points" for what I'm trying to do. I had the outside drawn with just the square in a square in the center as no dots to draw to for the 9 patch.

the 9-patch was the hardest part. in eq5, the most points you can use is 192. i like even multiples [but that's just my quirk], so i used 180. even with that, i'm not 100% that those lines are perfectly equal. i'm not sure if subsequent upgrades include a ruler with the easy draw screen, but it would be helpful. i had to do a little Pythagorean math for that one :)

Hmmmm...thanks, I've started re-doing the lessons, I have EQ5 as well, but even with the 180 I can't colour mine in, so I must not have the points right..... Oh well, you did a great job re-creating the block, and hopefully someone can find a name for it.

Beautiful quilt, but the perfect hand quilting makes it exquisite!!!
