I know a few of us on the board were doing another of Quiltville's mystery quilts. This one was pretty easy and fun!

It's beautiful! Are you adding flying geese, like Bonnie did, or are you ready to get it quilted?

nice job Chele!!!! I will get to this project eventually.. I thought I could take it on now, but the lessons were coming out fast and furious and I just knew I wouldn't be able to keep up.. I really like this project and will play with it soon.

SaraSewing 09-11-2008 07:49 AM

Wow - you did it! It's beautiful! I have to finish the bug jar and a wall hanging before I can start on it. I really like the colors and it's a great design! Thanx for inspiring me to get 'er done.

Shadow Dancer 09-11-2008 08:01 AM

Beautiful Chele!!! I haven't started it yet, but have the pattern printed out....it's in the pile on my table! LOL

Pam Pollock 09-11-2008 08:28 AM

Very Nice Chele!! I would like to do that one too. I haven't started that mystery quilt yet as I was busy with my daughter's wedding & my sewing room has to double as a guest bedroom. My quilting is on hold for the time being. The wedding turned out beautiful & everything went smoothly so now I can relax. I'm just leaving it in guest room set up for a couple of weeks as Mom & Dad are visiting in 2 weeks to go to the USC /Beaver game.

Wow, Chele, I really like it!! You did a great job and it looks SOOO hard. I really like the fabrics you used. Did you have these in your stash or did you buy a fat quarter stack or what??

Calico92402 09-11-2008 09:49 AM

Wow! What a lot of work. I'm impressed (not to mention probably too lazy to do it myself!) Hope to see more.

Chele, It's beautiful, I wanted to do this one but still haven't finished Orange crush. Good for you a job well done! :D

GailG 09-12-2008 01:30 AM

FANTASTIC !! I would have been so overwhelmed by all those pieces. It reminds me of those pictures that were all the rage in the seventies and eighties -- the ones where you sat and stared at them until you saw something pop out at you. I'm sure they had a name, but it's escaped me at the moment. Chele, you're #1 !

reneebobby 09-12-2008 02:33 AM

That is really nice and looks hard but I can see it's really simple. Great job on the colors and oh if it needs a home. lol

Celeste 09-12-2008 05:02 AM

quiltmaker101 11-24-2008 02:18 PM

Hey Chele! Didn't you get this one quilted and bound?

You should post the final "ta da" pic on here so we can all admire it again.

PS, I sent a pic and link to this thread to Bonnie for you.

Chele 11-24-2008 04:23 PM

No "ta da" picture Wendy! It's still in the pile of UFOs. I thought it was a very fun quilt to put together though! Maybe one day it will be finished!

Diane007 10-13-2012 07:01 PM
