Aww, both are adorable! We keep our mini schnauzer clipped short too. But we did get rid of her long snout hair, because it always looks so dirty! LOL. And she doesn't bark! How wonderful is that!

our next door neighbor has a schnauzer and he will come out of the house and bark at 10pm every night so that my dogs will come out and visit..he is a nut case....

I can see we have a lot of schnauser people. They are so much company, we laugh all the time. Woofie"s whole name is Woofie JYS (junk yard schnauser)Because we never saw one like him before.The one on this post is really sweet looking. I groom them and keep them short because I just don't have time to keep grassburrs , etc out of those beautiful feathers they get. They are also cooler in this Texas heat.

Both babies and quilt are cuties. My Mom raises minitures (3) and are they ever yappy!

Yeah, that's why Dottie is kept short! OMG, the grass burrs love her, and she is really a little pigpen!! LOL. And we are in Houston, so the heat is the same, :-( But at least she doesn't bark!

Thank you to all of you. he is my buddy and he thinks he is a mighty dog.....I don't want to hurt his feelings, he gives me such sad eyes.

The good thing about the 'talking' schnauser is we don't have to wait at the vets office ... he makes so much racket they take us right in!

My little guy is 10 y.o. diabetic due to pancreatic problems, and almost blind but he still loves to play. We bought him toys that quack, ribbit and laugh so he can find them when we throw them. We keep him cut short too because the can't keep his nose out of places it doesn't belong!

I have had quite a few schnauzers. I thought they barked a lot until I got my Yorkie. He barks to eat, to play, to go outside, when I put my clothes on and sometimes even if you just look at him. Wouldn't trade him though. I thought I was so smart and bought the "Bark Off" thinking that might help. Nope. He's just not happy if he's not yapping. I love Woofie.
