I'm in awe. That is so beautiful.

All I can say is "WOW"!! What a piece of art this is!!
Can I assume this is alot of PP in this quilt? How else could you even begin to get all those points so perfect?

I have to admit that Judy's patterns come with all the patterns and seam allowances for the entire quilt and that is part of the money and she also sold extra paper for those who wanted to make more.

Since most of what I do, I use the freezer paper so I have most of the paper left for the WRS and the plain WR. I know i have them somewhere.

It;s too bad she doesn't give you a choice of just the main pattern parts, so one can make their own and offer the paper as another item.

The Jacquline DeJonge pattern came as a map with no seam allowance. You had to make another copy and add the seam allowances. And since the the pattern page was so large, you had to take it to Kinko's and that was another 20.00 besides the 48.00 that I paid already. There was no reasonable way you could make it without the map on the wall to help you.

Nope, not doing it anymore.

I just picked up a book at the library. More Lap Quilting with Georgia Bonesteel, it has a section in the back with templates you can trace to make you own templates. All kinds of Triangles, Rectangles, Squares, Parallelograms, Trapezolds, Diamonds and all kinds of special pieces. - I will make my templates tomorrow and bring the book back to the library....love no cost ideas!

I just did a search on strip blocks...never even thought there was a triangle way to do it. I found this book http://www.amazon.com/Kaye-Woods-Str.../dp/0873492587 has anyone ever seen it?? Is it any good? Not to many reviews.
