Omigosh

It's hard to believe, but with the safe at home sewing time I was able to complete this top in less than 6 months. Omigosh by Susan Garman. I made mine slightly larger and it has 19,555 pieces. The 9 patches and 4 patches are from 1/2" finished squares. It is very heavy because there is as much fabric in the seam allowances as in the top. Waiting to be quilted for now.

Well done! That’s quite an accomplishment!

Love the quilt....can't imagine working on one thing for six months! My hat is off to you!

It is gorgeous! You should be so proud.
I've looked at this quilt for years and I noped out of it every single time. https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images...es/biggrin.png Elise |
It turned out gorgeous. I would never be able to deal with pieces that small nor that many. I have a fit if I can't piece a quilt in a week or so.
You are a very patient person. |
That turned out great. What patience you have
|
Omigosh is right, it is beautiful, over 19,000 pieces shows patience.
|
Impeccable work. Very, very nice
|
Wonderful! What a treasure you will have once it's quilted.
