The quilt was finally finished and labeled (thanks to Sewnsewer2) and given to my son in law, who made Chief Petty Officer yesterday. I quote the new CPO, "This is never going to sea!" I think he really likes it and doesn't want it lost, stolen or ruined (all things that happen, more frequently than you'd think at sea).

I liked it when I first saw it on this page, but I liked it even more when I left the room and came back. Seeing it from the other side of the room let me take the pattern in more. Love the layout design!! |
