I have seen a lot of these and would really like to do one however I did not like the pattern to be the whole quilt . Did you have a pattern to show you how to put it in the blue fabric like that. I really love the colors and the lay out is the best.

Here is my first layout of blocks, and the second. |
Love your quilt. My question: Where did you get the pattern? I've seen these quilts and want to make one. If you can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks and happy quilting. |
Who would have thought that fabric could be soooo beautiful! Wonderful quilt and great job!

OMGosh! It is beautiful! I have not had the nerve to try one yet! I think you did a great job!

Thanks and happy quilting. Also, I just noticed that kclausing put together a .pdf file from the postings that Cutebuns had made, whose postings I used to make my wallhanging. The document is long--41 pages, but lots of photos, so that should be helpful. You can save the .pdf file to your computer. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-92503-1.htm If you like books, you can purchase one or more written by Maxine Rosenthal and Joy Pelzmann, who created this particular technique. You can find their books on Amazon, quilt shops, etc. Here is a link on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/One-Block-Wond.../dp/1571203222 Hope this helps. |
Thanks. I think I'll check out the library and see if they have the book before I buy it. The tutorial didn't really help - it confuse me instead. I think I know what to do, but I would like to see the book and then I'll get to the daring part - cutting the fabric.

Love it!
