Would you recommend a class to do this quilt or is it OK with just the book. I want to do a Kaleidoscope quilt really bad but have been too worried to start.

I would recommend a class, unless you are really good at following written instruction!

If I remember correctly, it took 4 1/2 yards for the top and border. I don't remember who the maker is, but I did buy it at my LQS. Not enough left to find the selvage printing. Sorry :-(

Where do you get directions for OBW? Is it as hard as it looks. From someone who cut out a stack and wack and never sewed it together except one block. Your quilt is absolutely beautiful
