I just looked in the book and to make a good lap-size, twin or full size, you need 4 1/2 yards.

I'm going to buy more fabric tonight for mine. I got 2 yards the first time and if they have enough left, I am going to get 3 more yards. I love how easy it is to make this quilt!

Thanks Roxanne for your kind comments, the cubes come from the book "One Block Wonders Encore" and they are just pieced as hexagons too.
There's a new book out called One Block Wonders Cubed which apparently has more cubes in it but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet. But The ones I did are very easy if you follow the guide in the book. I have just gotten some more fabric to do another OBW, I can't wait to start it. They are addictive. |
