Finished the one the dog likes - and a WIP for my Mom. Only orchids I could find that weren't too "loud" were in drapery material (she grows orchids). So, I found the complimentary cotton (rapsberry) to go with the flowers and used fusible interfacing on it - made it about the same thickness as the drapery material.
Oh, thew in a photo of Miss Allie after she found her diaper bag....she was very proud of herself. One for Mom 2nd quilt Diaperhead Allie 11 Months |

Nice job on the orchids! I don't think I would have thought to back my other fabric to match the thickness.
The picture of Allie is wonderful....it will go with those "naked in the bathtub with a wash cloth on the head" shots too! LOL  Thanks for sharing both with us! |
That quilt's too pretty for the dog Nina!

Nice quilts & such a cute little pumpkin! My daughter liked funny hats like that when she was little too. We should all be so easily entertained! LOL
