I finally gave myself a good talking to and took control and not give in to the depression I have been dealing with the past few months. Today I got back to my works in progress, I finished this top this afternoon. Tomorrow I hope to finish the Christmas quilt top then I can get back to my Ocean Waves.

Very beautiful, love the way you have combined the colours and the star pattern is just great. Yep, sometimes a bit of self-talk does a world of good, may each of your days be better than the last.

Your Broken Star is stunning & go for it when depression tries to come in. I know it all too well. If we (you, me, everyone) can just get out of bed, then we can pull ourselves out of it better. There are times it's very difficult to get anything started. Your work is always gorgeous & I know your creative right brain is telling you it's time to get to work. TTUL

Welcome back Shadow. I like the Broken Star quilt. How big are you making the Ocean Waves one? I did one with a chocolate brown background. It was a housewarming gift for my brother. He liked it but it didn't quite cover his bed. I'm looking forward to seeing yours.
