Your cheerful quilt and cheerful comments make me smile :) :) And the Canadian in me makes me ask - what island in Canada?? |
Beautiful quilt!!

It looks great. I'm sure she will love it and use it lots up in Canada. How lucky you are to have a great MIL. I did too and she's been gone for three years now and I miss her terribly. I just hope I'm as good at being a MIL as she was.

We are flying up to Canada to see my MIL! I am excited to see her. She is still in the hospital and not making much improvement. I'll be taking the quilt to give her and a big box of See's candy. (she has never particularly cared about food and is not eating well but loves chocolate, See's has always been her favorite) We hope to cheer her up. Sometimes that's the best kind of medicine. LOL I'll be gone for a few days and will miss you all.......be good......
(p.s.--they want to put her in an assisted care facility but there is no room anywhere.....so until then she stays in the hospital.....dumb, huh?) |
When my grandma was 96 she didn't eat much and said she couldn't taste much but she still liked the sweets. So I guess that is one on the last taste to leave us, have a nice trip.

Have a safe trip and your beautiful quilt will surely brighten up her day. Of course, the chocolates might help too :D Love your quilt.

very pretty quilt... :D

She sounds like the perfect in law. They don't come about very often. The quilt is beautiful and I'm sure that she'll love it. I hope you get to present it in person as you'd like to.
